Louth Park water trunk main upgrade

We have replaced the 1.4 kilometers of water main between Reflection Drive and O’Connells Road, Louth Park. Eire Constructions will now start the removal of the redundant trunk main. Due to these works there will be increased traffic and construction activity along O’Connells Road and Louth Park Road.

Replacing this water trunk main will reduce unplanned maintenance and water lost to leaks, and provide a resilient future water supply.

This project is part of our program to replace and upgrade water related assets across the region.

Review of environmental factors

This project has been assessed in accordance with the environmental impact assessment requirements of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

The following Review of Environmental Factors (REF) describe the proposed works, assess the potential construction and operation environmental impacts, and identify our safeguards to mitigate any identified impacts.
