We supply water to more than half a million people in the Lower Hunter region of New South Wales. More than 240,000 properties are connected to our water supply network.

Moving water around the Lower Hunter

It takes 4,944 km of pipes, 98 pumping stations and 79 reservoirs to transport 68 billion litres of water to our customers each year.

Hunter Water also supplies a small volume of bulk treated water to Midcoast Water customers in Karuah and can supply and receive bulk treated water from Central Coast Council.
