Wallsend Water Pump Station Upgrade
Planned works to the Wallsend Water Pump Station (WPS) aim to upgrade the capacity of the pump station to cater for future demand on the water system in the Lower Hunter and improve system reliability.
The first stage of the upgrade involves construction of pipework modifications. This work will be undertaken by CLM Infrastructure Pty Ltd (CLM), on behalf of Hunter Water.
Due to inclement weather and poor ground conditions, the planned shutdown affecting some properties in Maryland, Minmi and Fletcher will not proceed as planned. Further notifications will be sent to residents once supply interruption timings are confirmed.
There are no planned shutdowns scheduled for the week of August 16 - 20.
