Chichester Trunk Gravity Main Replacement

Hunter Water is replacing a major pipeline between Tarro and Shortland to improve regional water security. This pipeline provides the flexibility to transfer water between Dungog and Grahamstown water catchments, and is a critical link in Hunter Water's supply network.

Laying the new 900mm pipeline underground, and changing the route of the pipeline will provide both environmental and operational benefits for the local environment and community.

Construction commenced in May 2010 by Diona.
